Helena is an undergraduate student at the University of Iowa, majoring in both Arts and Physics/Astronomy. She is building a comprehensive catalog of "dipper" stars, which are protostars that show notable changes to their brightnesses on short (~minutes -> days) time scales. The origin of "dipper" behavior is not well understood, nor why there exists a wide variation in brightness changing time scales, behavior, and amount of dimming.
